Goal 13: Climate Action - School's first Minecraft Team

As a part of the Climate Action project by Koen Timmers, we got to share our work with some amazing classrooms across the world. One of our favourites has been Ms. Katja Borregaard's 5B & 5C from Denmark. Inspired by their amazing solutions in a virtual world, the students got together to form the first Minecraft team from DPS. Here is some of the work we created as solutions to a cleaner & greener India - windmills, solar panels, solar cars, vegetable gardens, garbage collection & recycling centers...When youth separated by geography & time are able to inspire & motivate each other to take action to global problems, we become true global citizens. Thank you Koen Timmers, we owe this to you!!!

Happy New Year 2017

Happy New Year everybody...

Here's our first project for 2017 - students gathered information on current living practices in the city - Bangalore & country - India & how they impact the environment. Though the situation appears to be grim, there are plenty of silver linings in these dark clouds caused  by our current practices in the form of change makers across the globe, whose efforts to save the environment make the New Year especially happy.
